What is hot-desking?
Hot-desking is a flexible workspace arrangement in which employees do not have assigned desks and instead reserve or claim any available desk when they come into the office.
Hot-desking is common in hybrid workplaces because it lets a company support more employees than it has desks. Desk booking software like Roomly manages hot-desking by showing which desks are free and letting people reserve one for the days they are in.
